Your New Favorite Author

Andi Thomas Peters’ novels showcase strong female characters as they navigate the highs and lows of life through friendships and relationships, work life and home life, and blue skies and stormy weather.  Her novels have all the trappings of rich Southern stories—a dash of romance, equal parts fidelity and infidelity, a healthy dose of libations—all surrounded by the coast, sunshine, and summer breezes. But Peters’ serene landscapes can be deceiving, as passion often gives way to intrigue and even murder. Her characters keep you coming back for more as they grow through forgiveness, laughter, and grace.

The Purple Fence on the Boardwalk

Andi Thomas Peters’ debut novel is a coming-of-age mystery that takes you on a page-turning journey through the weaknesses of human frailty, the power of relationships, and the healing nature of time.

Junie Hollingsworth LeBlanc is awaiting the arrival of her family for their annual Independence Day celebration at their summer home on Mobile Bay when she learns that their private plane has crashed, and there are no survivors.

Scarred from this tragedy, Junie draws upon planetary forces for comfort and makes a break with polite society by painting the fence around her family’s summer estate purple. The once grand home of the boardwalk is now a nuisance, and its occupants — former boardwalk royalty — are now outcasts. Junie, a self-embraced misfit, couldn’t care less, but her daughter, Francie, is plagued by anxiety and insecurities due to their exclusion.

She longs to be more like the family next door.

Pretense and infidelities run rampant around the bay before completely unravelling when a body is discovered under the envied neighbor’s dock.

The story reminds us that a perfect family doesn’t exist and what constitutes “normal” is in the eyes of the beholder—even if it lies behind a garish purple fence.

The Purple Fence on the Boardwalk is now available in paperback or for Kindle on Amazon.

Hannah Anne Hart is living her fairy tale in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Life is seemingly perfect until her husband deserts her, and her daughter follows her heart elsewhere.

The women and their first loves reconnect on the coast to unravel a murder plot against their children. Decades of resentment are overcome, allowing them to piece together more than potential motives. Maude Abbott and Hannah Anne Hart may get another chance at what could have been.

Revelations on the Battery

Lucy Tate and Sammie Morgan are on track to become the first female partners in their Charleston law firm. But, that is where the similarities end.

Lucy is a Charleston interloper with no silver spoon or pedigree. Sammie is upper crust Charlestonian. Her great-grandfather founded their prestigious firm. Her 18th century, Victorian home located on the Battery is quite different from the clapboard mill cottages that dot the landscape of Lucy’s home town. While Sammie spent summers sailing on the Ashley River, Lucy spun cotton in the textile mill and served in the church where her father was the pastor.

For Lucy, partnership will be a momentous accomplishment. For Sammie, she will be claiming her birthright.

That is, before everything turns upside down.

Lucy’s road to the coveted partnership is as arduous as the journey to the promised land described by her father’s Sunday faithful. For Sammie, her rite of passage takes an abrupt turn when family secrets are resurrected, rocking her once secure life path. When Lucy and Sammie are lured into a larger scandal involving a yachtsman and a U.S. senator, they wonder if they will survive this final blow.

Revelations on the Battery is now available in paperback or for Kindle on Amazon.
